About Our Clean & Sober Housing Program
Jesus is our HIGHER POWER!
Jesus is God Ministry’s Your Hope and Future program offers clean and sober housing for men who are struggling with addiction and looking for support in their recovery; are re-entering society after treatment in a drug and/or alcohol rehabilitation program or have mental health issues and need housing. Some of our program participants are formerly incarcerated individuals or are men who have been homeless. We do not discriminate against age, disability, race, religion or criminal backgrounds.
So, whether you are HOMELESS, in TRANSITION from an institution,
or just need LONG-TERM HOUSING…We have a place for you!
We currently have ten homes in our housing program; Des Moines, Tukwila, Renton and SeaTac.
Our housing program has three phases to support everyone at the stage they are at, in recovery and/or transition, to meet their specific needs when we welcome them into our program.
Housing for Veterans
If you are a veteran who is disabled or aging, then our veteran’s program will support those who need additional care to get through the Aging and Disability Services process.
Our homes for veterans — like all our homes — are built on a sense of family, friendship and love. We want you to feel like you have finally come home! Our supportive housing will assist you in getting to necessary appointments and our passenger bus loves to go on outings to keep life fun and exciting!
Your dedication to fight for our country means everything to us
and we want to be there to support you through this time.
We also accept veterans with all criminal backgrounds. And we accept vets with mental impairment or illness, as long as they’re able to care for themselves. We have single and double rooms available and a family-oriented living environment to call home.
Housing for Addiction Recovery
We also offer a drug & alcohol recovery and accountability program to support your recovery and stay out of the life that brought you here and provide the support you need to stay away from jails, institutions or death. We do this with one-on-one mentoring, support groups such as AA/NA and Celebrate Recovery. We also have random UA’s and breathalyzers to keep everyone accountable.
Housing for Re-Entry from Prison
If you are transitioning back into society from prison, we follow all DOC rules and provide support in keeping in compliance with your judgment & sentence and DOC stipulations. We have a good relationship with DOC, and we would like to see you have the same. Our main goal is to assist you in moving forward in life to become the most productive person you can be. Our supportive housing will help you get to all your necessary appointments to support you in reaching your life goals.
Housing for Mental Illness
If you’re experiencing mental health issues and need supportive housing, our Clean & Sober Housing program is here to help you. Our supportive housing will assist in transporting you to doctors’ appointments and medication pick-ups as necessary. If you feel that you need an accountability partner to help you when it’s time to take your medication, we are here to support you. It’s very important to us that everyone feels loved, welcomed, and treated respectfully regardless of how they feel about their life.
How it Works
All our homes are clean and sober living for men. Although our leadership has a relationship with Jesus, we do not require anyone to believe what we believe, we simply offer a way of life that changed us. We are not a religious program but a spiritual one. We believe in relationships, not religion.
We offer AA & NA meetings available, as well as Celebrate Recovery throughout the week if you would like to attend. We also offer Bible studies and prayer meetings if that is something you are interested in attending. We meet at 12pm on Sundays to enjoy fellowship and after our time together we have a meal. We have a full-time homeless outreach that you could be a part of, where we go out daily to feed the homeless; encourage them and create intentional relationships with people on the street so they know there’s somewhere for them to go when they are ready.
Regardless of what struggle you are experiencing, or if you have no struggle and you’re just looking for family, you’ve come to the right place. We have ten homes in Des Moines, Tukwila, SeaTac and Renton.
