A safe home provides stability, community, and room to move forward. But for someone rebuilding their life, covering the full cost of rent can be a struggle.
This Generosity Week, help Jesus is God Ministry raise $30,000 to support residents in our clean and sober housing programs. Your generosity will help cover rent subsidies, utilities, and the everyday supplies that make a house a home.
About Us
Jesus is God Ministry is an inner city mission program that brings the love of Jesus to the suffering and lost of South King County. We serve veterans and those who are living on the streets or re-entering society from prison, drug addiction programs, mental health facilities, and homelessness. We provide supported housing which includes transportation to medical, dental, CCO, mental health, and other appointments to help these people so they have a safe place to stay and meet their basic needs as they get back on their feet.
We offer in-home meetings including Celebrate Recovery, AA, NA, Biblical counseling, discipleship Bible Studies, topical Bible studies that relate to their recovery, church, and prayer. We offer a safe, clean rooms in our six homes in South King County and Seattle. We have created a family environment that is centered on love and the power of Jesus Christ to offer a safe and welcoming place for our program participants to live.

GivingTuesday on December 1 kicks off our campaign, which runs through December 5. Together, we’re working toward $30,000 for housing assistance, utilities, and essential supplies.

Volunteer! We are always looking for volunteers to come help hand out with our weekday outreach, community meals, and other events.

Pastor's Note:
We’re not a religious organization, we’re a relationship organization — we are about developing our own personal relationships and taking what we’ve learned to help other people in our community, especially those who are suffering.
We believe in loving one another (there are 551 mentions of this in the Bible!) and we believe we are called to lay our life down for our neighbor — that’s what we’re doing here in South King County. Our ministry has an emphasis on leadership, and we believe in raising up strong leaders and workers to help others.
Most importantly, our ministry is based on the truth, not on money. With the support of people like you, we can do what God has called us to.
Jesus is God Ministry is a 501c3 organization, and our programs are self-supporting through donations and contributions from the Ministry's leaders, Toney and Susie Bates.
